Dustin Butcher is currently the Assistant/Goalkeeper Coach at Shenandoah University, the Boys Varsity Assistant Coach at Sherando High School and the Director of Goalkeeping for Virginia Soccer Association. After a 4 year playing career at George Mason University under Coach John O’Hara, Dustin spent short stints with Sporting KC and Toronto FC of Major League Soccer before turning to collegiate and club coaching. Lloyd played Semi Pro in England for Braintree Town FC and Maldon Town FC. The previous two summers he has coached the DC United Women’s Goalkeepers who play in the W League, winning the Conference last year and eventually finishing 3rd. He also coached the DC United Women’s U20 Goalkeepers. Lloyd is in charge of the goalkeepers at SYA, LMVSC, BAC, Chantilly High School Girls Varsity. He also assists John O’Hara, GK Director at Loudoun Soccer Club and with the Olympic Development Program for Virginia's Northern district. Michael Behonick is in the midst of his third season as an assistant coach with the Virginia men's soccer program. He was named an assistant coach at Virginia in April 2010 and works directly with the Cavalier goalkeepers.
Behonick came to UVa after playing professional soccer with the Puerto Rico Islanders of the United Soccer Leagues (USL 1) since 2007 and serving as the Islanders' Academy assistant goalkeeper coach in 2009. His coaching experience also includes serving as the Director of Goalkeeping for the Syosset Soccer Club (Syosset, N.Y.) from 2006-08 and as a volunteer assistant at his alma mater, American University, in 2003.
Behonick has been a member of the Puerto Rico National Team since 2008 and also played professionally for Crystal Palace Baltimore (USL 2, 2007), the New York Red Bulls (Major League Soccer, 2006), Charleston Battery (USL 1, 2003-05), Harrisburg City Islanders (USL 2, 2004) and DC United (MLS SuperDraft Pick). Mike Ammann is a former professional goalkeeper having played for 8 years prior to retiring due to injury. Following an All American career at Cal State Fullerton University and a Final Four appearance (1993) Mike signed with Charlton Athletic of the English First Division. Mike played two full seasons at Charlton (1994-1996) starting 32 games for the Addicks before signing with Major League Soccer in 1996. Mike's career in the MLS consisted of playing for Kansas City, NY/NJ and DC United. His best season coming in 2000 when he started in the MLS All Star game and led the NY/NJ MetroStars (now RedBull) to a Eastern Conference Finals appearance and just one game from playing in the MLS Cup. He retired from professional soccer following 3 elbow surgeries. Mike currently coaches the U16 and U18 DC United Academy Goalkeepers in addition to running GK Icon USA.
