Senaptec Strobe Pro Glasses

Size

One size fits all. The glasses have an elasticated, adjustable strap for a secure fit. The goggles come with a soft shell carrying case to ensure you can safely take your Strobes wherever training calls you. Charging cable and changeable nose pieces are also included. The glasses can also be controlled via Bluetooth and your smart phone. The app is available for download on Apple App Store and Google Play.

Material

The glasses frame are made from sturdy injection molded plastic. This plastic is very durable to protect the face and eyes, should the ball hit the glasses when being worn. The lens is made of liquid crystal, providing clear viewing and protection. The digital dial on the side of the frame allows you to turn the glasses on and off and to control the difficulty level of the strobe action. Senaptec is the only company and manufacturer of stroboscopic eyewear with patents that secure this offering. To clean the lens, wipe with a moist, soft lens cloth and dry with a clean dry lens cloth. 

Use

The Strobe Pro is ideal for intermediate level, high school and collegiate athletes, group sessions and return to play training. The split lens settings restrict the field of vision from below or above, which adds a new level of complexity in training. Those participating in dynamic sports such as baseball, basketball, or soccer will benefit from the added challenges and cognitive complexity. The Strobe Pro model comes with 8 strobe patterns built-in, and the ability to customize patterns as desired:

Lens Mode Settings

Mode A: Both lenses flickering. This standard mode is great for all-around training.

Mode B & C: Blocks left eye or right eye while flickering the other eye. Training one eye helps with eye-dominance and teaching the brain to use cues other than binocular vision for dynamic depth perception.

Mode D: The lenses alternate clear and opaque between left and right eyes. The alternating lenses helps improve eye teaming and spatial awareness.

Mode E & F: Using the split lens technology, these modes block lower or upper vision while flickering the other region. Blocking lower vision is great for ball handling drills and blocking upper is good for working on getting your head up for better awareness, and posture / balance improvement.

G Mode: The lenses alternate back and forth between the upper and lower portion of the visual field. This unique mode maintains a constant visual input while constantly shifting the source of information. It is a great mode for maintaining balance while in motion and building situational awareness.

H Mode: The lenses move through the different segments in a circular pattern. This provides maximum visual distraction. Training in this mode helps overall visual processing, especially spatial awareness and depth perception.

Custom Modes: All modes can be controlled, and unique settings can be created via the Senaptec Strobe App
